Millennium Development Goal – A Political Understanding
The target emphasized by United Nations on the Millennium Development Goal towards eradicating Poverty, facilitating Gender Equality, Education for all, erosion of Health crisis, sustainability of Environment and towards global partnership on development is the focus of the present political study.
The issues that are being emphasized are a chronicle crisis, which is gradually increasing besides numerous efforts. Though many community development efforts have been placed by making State changing policies towards the benefit to reach the actual targeted population, but still more it is done, more is needed.
The thesis on Millennium Development Goal – a Political Understanding is an evaluation based on the cause of the crisis, which is responsible towards these major concerns. The importance of the Political correction is towards the Human Development is only possible when we evaluate the cause of the crisis. Unless, these corrections are not done from its root, all the effort that is being done towards the achievement of the target of Millennium Development will remain only one to one basis and will never be able to eradicate the crisis.
The evaluation in the thesis has three phase of political development in the World system. The pre-industrialization phase, industrial / colonial era and post-colonial era after World War II have brought a drastic change in the Political development which was primarily based on expansionist policies and indigenous self-equipped governance system to a global dependency system which has created a fabric of political control through economic process.
From the indigenous and self-sufficient, economy through its political vigilance and governance in the Pre-industrialization era to a political tool after World War II to the Economic dependency has a great decline in the Political System in the hand of Economic process. Though the World System on dependency theory could not facilitate the world populace from the invasion of Poverty to Acute Hunger and decline in Human Development, though there have been enormous technological advancements to its peak.
Poverty, Health crisis, gender disparity, environmental abuses are all interlinked issues. Though lots of work is done through International non-Government agencies through it’s local outlets, but these are mainly pilot projects and it is towards one to one basis rather than making an effort towards control on the crisis. This is mainly not done since there is a lack of political understanding due to Intellectual colonization, which is merely a tool of economic process.
Economy is a support system and not a governance system. Governance system has many intricacies and variations, which needs different pattern of governance system than unification through economic process. Unification brings conflicts and control of power, where as heterogeneous approach needs Universal system based on Law, which allows every individual, community and skill to survive and excel to it’s potential.
Though the thesis is based on the initial evaluation on the targeted goal of the Millennium Development towards its political understanding, but this is just an introduction towards a New World Order and its Universal Survival. The forthcoming thesis will give a wide understanding to various political concerns and its resolution. This will pave towards a governance system that will protect the cultural, political, economic sovereignty and bring to World Peace and Prosperity.
